Inhibitors of protein phosphatases like Okadaic Acid and Calyculin A can indirectly lead to the activation of Olr704 by preventing dephosphorylation, maintaining the protein in a phosphorylated and active state. Lastly, H-89, despite being a PKA inhibitor, can lead to the compensatory activation of other kinases that can phosphorylate and activate Olr704. Each of these chemicals utilizes distinct cellular pathways to ensure that Olr704 is activated, highlighting the complex interplay between different signaling molecules and pathways in the regulation of protein function.
