MAGE-A8 Activators

MAGE-A8 Activators interact indirectly with cellular pathways to enhance the expression or activity of MAGE-A8. They are typically involved in modulating the stress responses within the cell. For example, Celastrol and Geldanamycin engage the heat shock response elements by inducing HSF1 and inhibiting Hsp90, respectively, which can lead to a broad increase in the expression of heat shock proteins and may inadvertently upregulate MAGE-A8 expression as part of the stress response.

Another subset of these chemicals operates by altering intracellular signaling molecules that regulate gene expression.
