LOC100128265 Activators

Chemical activators of LOC100128265 can initiate a cascade of intracellular events leading to its activation. Phorbol 12-myristate 13-acetate (PMA) and 4-Phorbol 12,13-didecanoate (4-PDD) target protein kinase C (PKC), which phosphorylates LOC100128265, thereby activating it. Similarly, Forskolin, 8-Bromo-cAMP, and Dibutyryl-cyclic AMP elevate intracellular cyclic AMP levels, leading to the activation of protein kinase A (PKA). PKA then phosphorylates LOC100128265, which results in activation. Ionomycin acts differently by increasing intracellular calcium levels, which may activate calcium-dependent kinases that further phosphorylate and activate LOC100128265.
