HERG Antibodies

Santa Cruz Biotechnology features a diverse variety of HERG Antibodies for advanced research in cardiac physiology and pharmacology. Monoclonal HERG Antibodies are suitable for various applications, including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), flow cytometry (FCM), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The human ether-à-go-go-related gene (HERG) encodes a potassium ion channel that plays a critical role in cardiac repolarization. Proper functioning of HERG is essential for maintaining the heart's rhythm, and mutations in this gene can lead to serious conditions such as Long QT Syndrome, which increases the risk of arrhythmias. Understanding HERG's role in cardiac function has led to significant advances in developing targeted therapies for heart-related disorders. HERG research continues to reveal new insights into cardiac rhythm regulation and potential therapeutic approaches. Investigating HERG channels has become increasingly important in drug development and safety assessment. The relationship between HERG function and various cardiac conditions remains an active area of research. Santa Cruz Biotechnology monoclonal HERG antibodies enable researchers worldwide to advance our understanding of cardiac physiology and contribute to the development of new therapeutic strategies.
