Coiled-coil domain containing 170 (CCDC170) activators include chemicals that act upon signaling pathways or cellular processes that could indirectly enhance the functional activity of CCDC170. Retinoic acid could act in a similar gene-regulatory fashion, influencing the activity of CCDC170 through alterations in gene expression.
