CTL4 Activators

CTLA-4 Activators encompass a diverse array of chemical compounds that indirectly promote the activity of CTLA-4, a protein that serves as an immune checkpoint and plays a crucial role in downregulating immune responses. Forskolin, by raising intracellular cAMP levels, indirectly bolsters CTLA-4's function by enhancing T cell receptor signaling pathways that facilitate CTLA-4-mediated inhibition. Similarly, Sotrastaurin and Cyclosporin A target protein kinase C and calcineurin, respectively, attenuating T cell activation which in turn allows CTLA.
