Zimp10 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Zimp10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Zimp10 (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Zimp10 protein, also known as ZMIZ1 (zinc finger, MIZ-type containing 1), MIZ, or RAI17, is a 1,067 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in cellular processes by localizing to both the nucleus and cytoplasm. A single SP-RING-type zinc finger in Zimp10 is essential for interaction with androgen receptor (AR). This interaction enhances AR′s ligand-dependent transcriptional activity and promotes sumoylation, a post-translational modification vital for AR stimulation and overall functionality. Zimp10 is predominantly expressed in ovary, prostate, testis, and spleen, and Zimp10 expression is regulated through alternative splicing, resulting in multiple isoforms. Zimp10 gene is located on human chromosome 10, a region harboring over 1,200 genes and implicated in various genetic disorders, including Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2. Zimp10′s ability to modulate AR activity underscores its importance in androgen signaling pathways, which are critical for reproductive health and development.

Are there any issues with using sc-376825: Zimp10 (G-12) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-376825 conjugates.
