    SEE ALSO...

VPS37B Antibody (D-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects VPS37B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). VPS37B Antibody (D-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VPS37B, or vacuolar protein sorting 37 homolog B, is a crucial component of the endosomal sorting complex required for transport (ESCRT-I), which plays a significant role in sorting ubiquitinated proteins into multivesicular bodies. This process is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating membrane protein degradation, thereby influencing cell growth and differentiation. VPS37B protein, consisting of 285 amino acids, is primarily expressed in macrophages and lymphocytes, where VPS37B is recruited to the endosomal membrane in a VPS4A-dependent manner. Proper functioning of VPS37B is essential for trafficking endocytic and biosynthetic proteins to the vacuole, highlighting VPS37B′s importance in cellular processes such as signal transduction and nutrient uptake.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390144 P appropriate for?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
