VHR Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects VHR protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). VHR (F-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. VHR protein, a member of the dual specificity phosphatase family, plays a crucial role in regulating mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinase signaling pathways, which are essential for mediating cellular responses to a variety of stimuli. By dephosphorylating specific phosphothreonine and phosphotyrosine residues on MAP kinases, VHR helps maintain cellular homeostasis and prevent excessive signaling that could lead to pathological conditions such as cancer.
