    SEE ALSO...

USP43 Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects USP43 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USP43 Antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USP43, also known as ubiquitin specific peptidase 43, plays a critical role in the ubiquitin-proteasome system, which is essential for regulating protein degradation and maintaining cellular homeostasis. Specifically, USP43 is involved in the hydrolysis of ubiquitin from target proteins, thereby preventing their degradation and allowing for proper regulation of various cellular processes, including signal transduction and cell cycle progression. This deubiquitinating enzyme is composed of 1,124 amino acids and belongs to the peptidase C19 family, with its gene located on human chromosome 17p13.1. USP43 is expressed at low levels in tissues such as the lung, aorta, and brain, and exists in three isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in different cellular contexts. USP43′s ability to modulate the ubiquitin pathway underscores its importance in cellular signaling and potential implications in various diseases, making USP43 a valuable target for research and therapeutic applications.
