    SEE ALSO...

USE1 Antibody (D-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects USE1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). USE1 (D-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. USE1, also known as unconventional SNARE in the ER 1, plays a crucial role in the vesicular transport system of eukaryotic cells, specifically in the Golgi apparatus where USE1 facilitates the delivery of newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to their final destinations. This process is vital for maintaining cellular function and ensuring that proteins reach the correct membrane compartments, which is essential for proper cell signaling and function. USE1 is a single-pass type IV membrane protein that interacts with other proteins such as ZW10, RINT-1, and Syntaxin 18 to form a larger complex, and USE1 is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. USE1 consists of 259 amino acids and has three known isoforms resulting from alternative splicing events, highlighting USE1′s complexity and potential for diverse functional roles within the cell.
