TTI1 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TTI1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTI1, also known as TELO2-interacting protein 1 homolog or SMG10, is a crucial 1,089 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in the DNA damage response (DDR) by acting as a regulator and a key component of the TTT complex. This complex is essential for stabilizing the protein levels of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PIKK) family, which is vital for cellular resistance to various DNA damage stresses, including ionizing radiation, ultraviolet light, and mitomycin C. TTI1′s involvement in the proper folding of newly synthesized PIKKs, in conjunction with the TTT complex and heat shock protein 90 (HSP90), underscores TTI1′s importance in maintaining cellular integrity under stress conditions. Additionally, TTI1 is integral to the assembly and stabilization of the mTORC1 and mTORC2 complexes, which are critical for regulating cell growth and metabolism. Notably, TTI1 undergoes post-translational modification at serine 459, a modification that may influence TTI1′s function and interactions, and the gene encoding TTI1 is located on human chromosome 20.
