TTI1 Antibody (B-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TTI1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TTI1 (B-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TTI1, also known as TELO2-interacting protein 1 homolog or SMG10, is a crucial 1,089 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in regulating DNA damage response (DDR) and is a key component of the TTT complex, which is essential for stabilizing protein levels of the phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase (PIKK) family. The TTT complex is vital for cellular resistance to DNA damage caused by various stresses, including ionizing radiation, ultraviolet light, and mitomycin C. TTI1 is involved in assembling and stabilizing mTORC1 and mTORC2 complexes, which are critical for cell growth and metabolism. TTI1 is primarily located in the cytoplasm and nucleus, where TTI1 interacts with other proteins to facilitate proper cellular responses to stress. Additionally, TTI1 undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation at serine 459, which can influence function and interactions. The gene encoding TTI1 is located on human chromosome 20, highlighting evolutionary conservation and importance across species.
