TSHR Antibody (5G225) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor (TSHR) in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and flow cytometry (FCM). TSHR is a critical glycoprotein located on the surface of thyroid follicular cells, where TSHR plays a vital role in regulating thyroid hormone synthesis and secretion. TSHR activation by thyroid-stimulating hormone (TSH) initiates a cascade of intracellular signaling pathways that ultimately lead to the production of thyroid hormones, which are essential for maintaining metabolic homeostasis and overall physiological balance. TSHR (5G225) antibody is also valuable for studying various thyroid disorders, including Graves′ disease, where autoantibodies can aberrantly activate TSHR, leading to hyperthyroidism. Understanding the structure and function of TSHR is crucial for developing targeted therapies for these conditions, making anti-TSHR antibody (5G225) an invaluable tool for researchers studying thyroid function and related diseases.
