    SEE ALSO...

Tie-2 Antibody (F-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects Tie-2 of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tie-2 (F-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tie-2, also known as Tek, is a receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a crucial role in angiogenesis and vascular stability, making Tie-2 essential for proper blood vessel formation and maintenance. Tie-2 is primarily expressed in endothelial cells and is involved in mediating the effects of angiopoietins, which are key regulators of blood vessel development and remodeling. The interaction between Tie-2 and its ligands is vital for maintaining endothelial cell integrity and preventing vascular leakage, which is particularly important in pathological conditions such as cancer and inflammatory diseases. Understanding Tie-2 function and signaling pathways can provide insights into therapeutic strategies for targeting vascular-related diseases.
