Tie-1 Antibody (G-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Tie-1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tie-1 (G-12) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Tie-1 protein, also known as Tyrosine Kinase With Immunoglobulin Like And EGF Like Domains 1, plays a crucial role in regulating angiogenesis and vascular stability, making Tie-1 essential for proper blood vessel formation and maintenance. Located primarily on endothelial cell surfaces, Tie-1 interacts with Tie-2, contributing to signaling pathways that govern endothelial cell survival, proliferation, and migration. Tie-1 protein′s unique multidomain structure, which includes three epidermal growth factor homology motifs and immunoglobulin-like loops, facilitates ligand binding and subsequent activation of intracellular signaling cascades. Understanding Tie-1 interactions and functions is important for developing therapeutic strategies targeting vascular diseases and disorders related to angiogenesis.
