TIAR Antibody (H-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects TIAR in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TIAR, or T-cell intracellular antigen 1, is a crucial protein involved in the regulation of apoptosis and cellular stress responses, making TIAR significant in the context of viral immunity and cancer biology. TIAR is primarily located in the nucleus, where TIAR plays a vital role in RNA metabolism and the regulation of gene expression. Nuclear localization of TIAR is essential for function in splicing and mRNA stability, as TIAR interacts with various RNA-binding proteins and influences the fate of mRNA during stress conditions. Upon Fas ligation, TIAR rapidly translocates to the cytoplasm, participating in the apoptotic signaling cascade and leading to DNA fragmentation. TIAR′s ability to shuttle between the nucleus and cytoplasm underscores TIAR′s importance in cellular responses to stress and apoptosis, highlighting TIAR′s potential as a therapeutic target in diseases characterized by dysregulated cell death. Anti-TIAR antibody (H-1) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical biological processes.
