TBC1D10C Antibody (C-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TBC1D10C of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TBC1D10C antibody (C-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBC1D10C, also known as Carabin, is a 446 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a Rab-GAP TBC domain, which plays a crucial role in regulating the activity of Ras-related proteins. This regulation influences various cellular processes, including cell growth, differentiation, and survival. TBC1D10C is predominantly expressed in the spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes, where TBC1D10C functions as a GTPase-activating protein that inhibits protein phosphatase 2B (PP2B) activity, thereby mediating important signaling pathways that involve Ras and PP2B interactions. The gene encoding TBC1D10C is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting TBC1D10C′s significance in both normal physiology and disease states.
