    SEE ALSO...

TBC1D10C Antibody (G-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TBC1D10C of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-TBC1D10C antibody (G-5) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBC1D10C, also known as Carabin, is a 446 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of a Rab-GAP TBC domain, which plays a crucial role in regulating cellular signaling pathways. TBC1D10C is predominantly expressed in the spleen and peripheral blood leukocytes, where TBC1D10C functions as a GTPase-activating protein that enhances the hydrolysis of GTP on Ras-related proteins, thereby downregulating their active forms. TBC1D10C interaction with protein phosphatase 2B (PP2B) proteins is particularly significant, as TBC1D10C serves as a negative feedback mechanism that mediates crosstalk between Ras signaling and PP2B activity, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating various physiological processes. TBC1D10C gene is located on human chromosome 11, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Jervell and Lange-Nielsen syndrome and Jacobsen syndrome, highlighting TBC1D10C importance in both health and disease.
