    SEE ALSO...

TAF II p28 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TAF II p28 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAF II p28 (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAF II p28 plays a crucial role in the assembly of transcription factor TFIID, which is essential for preinitiation complex formation at the TATA promoter element. TAF II p28 functions as part of a larger multisubunit complex that includes several TBP-associated factors (TAFs). TAF II p28 interacts with other TAFs, such as TAF II p18, to enhance transcriptional activation, particularly in nuclear hormone receptors like estrogen receptor and vitamin D3 receptor. TAF II p28 also participates in retinoid X receptor alpha activation pathway as a limiting factor, underscoring TAF II p28′s importance in gene regulation. TAF II p28′s ability to modulate transcriptional responses highlights TAF II p28′s significance in cellular processes, including differentiation and apoptosis, making TAF II p28 a valuable target for research in gene expression and regulatory mechanisms.
