Suppressor of Hairless Antibody (C-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Suppressor of Hairless (Su(H)) protein of Drosophila melanogaster origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Su(H) monoclonal antibody (C-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Su(H) (C-9) antibody recognizes a protein that plays a crucial role in the Notch signaling pathway, which is essential for cell differentiation and development in multicellular organisms. Su(H) (C-9) monoclonal antibody targets a transcription factor that, upon interaction with the activated Notch receptor, translocates to the nucleus where Su(H) regulates the expression of target genes involved in neurogenesis and other developmental processes.
