Sox-6 Antibody (A-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Sox-6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sox-6 (A-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sox-6 protein plays a crucial role in regulating gene expression during development, particularly in differentiating various cell types. Sox-6 protein is primarily located in the nucleus, where Sox-6 functions as a transcription factor, binding to specific DNA sequences to modulate target gene transcription. Nuclear localization allows Sox-6 protein to influence developmental processes and cell fate decisions, which are essential for proper organismal development and function.
