Sox-11 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Sox-11 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sox-11 Antibody (B-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sox-11, a member of the Sox family, is a 441 amino acid nuclear protein predominantly expressed in the nervous system, where Sox-11 plays a pivotal role in neural development. Sox-11 contains a high mobility group (HMG) box DNA-binding domain, which is essential for function as a transcriptional regulator. Sox-11 is crucial for the differentiation and maintenance of neural progenitor cells, influencing cell fate decisions during the development of the central nervous system. Proper functioning of Sox-11 is vital, as dysregulation of Sox-11 expression has been linked to various neurodevelopmental disorders and may contribute to the pathogenesis of certain cancers. With evolutionary conservation and significant role in developmental processes, Sox-11 serves as an important marker for studying neural development and associated diseases.
