    SEE ALSO...

SOCS-4 Antibody (F-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human SOCS-4 by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SOCS-4 Antibody (F-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SOCS-4, also known as suppressor of cytokine signaling 4 or SOCS7, is a 440 amino acid protein characterized by the presence of one SH2 domain and one SOCS box domain, which is crucial for interaction with the Elongin B/C complex. This interaction is significant as SOCS-4 facilitates a role in the ubiquitin-proteasome pathway, exhibiting E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase activity, mediating ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins. The regulation of protein degradation is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and modulating signaling pathways, particularly in response to cytokine signaling, which can influence various physiological processes and disease states. Anti-SOCS-4 antibody (F-1) enables researchers to gain insights into the intricate mechanisms of cytokine signaling and the role of SOCS proteins in cellular regulation.
