SNAP 23 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SNAP 23 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SNAP 23 is a critical protein involved in the regulation of vesicle docking and fusion, which is essential for processes such as neurotransmitter release and hormone secretion. Located in the cytoplasm, SNAP 23 interacts with various SNARE proteins to facilitate the fusion of vesicles with target membranes, a process vital for maintaining cellular communication and homeostasis.
