SDCCAG3 Antibody (E-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SDCCAG3 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SDCCAG3 (E-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SDCCAG3, also known as serologically defined colon cancer antigen 3, consists of 435 amino acids and is localized in the cytoplasm, where SDCCAG3 plays a crucial role in modulating the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) response and facilitating the presentation of TNFRSF1A on the cell surface. This function is vital for maintaining cellular signaling pathways that regulate inflammation and apoptosis, which are essential for immune responses and cancer progression. SDCCAG3 features a coiled-coil domain similar to that found in myosin tails, indicating potential involvement in organelle and protein trafficking, as seen with related proteins such as kinesin, Golgin-160, and dynein. The SDCCAG3 gene, which has four alternatively spliced isoforms, is conserved across several species, including chimpanzees, cows, mice, rats, chickens, and zebrafish, and is located on human chromosome 9q34.3. This chromosome encompasses approximately 145 million bases, representing about 4% of the human genome and encoding nearly 900 genes, some of which are implicated in hereditary conditions and various cancers.
