SAP 155 Antibody (G-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SAP 155 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SAP 155, also known as SF3B1 or splicing factor 3b, subunit 1, is a crucial 1,304 amino acid protein that plays a significant role in the spliceosome assembly process, which is essential for the accurate processing of pre-mRNA into mature mRNA. SAP 155 (G-9) antibody targets a protein primarily localized to nuclear speckles, where SAP 155 participates in the assembly of the U2 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein (snRNP) complex, and translocates to the cytoplasm during mitosis.
