    SEE ALSO...

RPA16 Antibody (2774C3a) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RPA16 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-RPA16 antibody (2774C3a) is available as a non-conjugated format, providing researchers with a reliable tool for studying ribosomal biogenesis. RPA16 protein is a crucial component of RNA polymerase I (Pol I), which is primarily located in the nucleolus and is responsible for transcribing ribosomal RNA genes. This process is vital for the production of ribosomes, which are essential for protein synthesis in all living cells. The assembly of Pol I involves multiple subunits, including RPA16, RPA40, and RPA135, which interact at early stages of the complex formation. RPA40 not only plays a critical role in the stability and function of the Pol I complex but is also an essential subunit of RNA polymerase III, highlighting the interconnectedness of these transcriptional machinery components. Understanding the dynamics of RPA16 and its interactions within the Pol I complex is important for elucidating the regulatory mechanisms that govern ribosomal RNA synthesis and, consequently, cellular growth and proliferation.
