    SEE ALSO...

RORβ Antibody (4B4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RORβ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RORβ antibody (4B4) is available as the non-conjugated format. RORβ protein plays a crucial role in the regulation of circadian rhythms and is primarily expressed in the brain and central nervous system, particularly in regions that process sensory information. RORβ expression levels exhibit oscillation in the retina and pineal gland, aligning with the body′s circadian clock, which is vital for maintaining physiological homeostasis and influencing sleep-wake cycles. RORβ is involved in the transcriptional regulation of genes that are essential for neuronal development and function, making RORβ a significant target for research in neurobiology and circadian biology. The gene encoding human RORβ is located on chromosome 9q22, and RORβ′s unique ability to bind DNA as a monomer distinguishes RORβ from other members of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily, which typically function as dimers. This characteristic underlines RORβ′s importance in mediating specific gene expression patterns that are critical for various biological processes.
