RBM38 Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects RBM38 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-RBM38 antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RBM38, also known as RNA-binding protein 38 or RNPC1, plays a crucial role in regulating cell cycle and mRNA splicing. RBM38 is primarily located in cytosol and nucleus and exists as two alternatively spliced isoforms, RNPC1a and RNPC1b, consisting of 239 and 121 amino acids, respectively. RBM38 maintains transcript stability at the 3′-untranslated region of p21, a key regulator of cell cycle progression at S phase, thereby inducing cell cycle arrest in G1 phase independently of p53 expression. RBM38 is also involved in regulating FGFR2 expression, highlighting RBM38′s role in cellular processes that can influence tumorigenesis. One RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain in RBM38 facilitates function as an mRNA splicing factor, making RBM38 essential for proper gene expression and cellular homeostasis.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-365898 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
