Ral GDS Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ral GDS of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Ral GDS antibody (C-11) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Ral GDS functions as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor, specifically activating Ral A and Ral B proteins, which belong to a distinct subfamily of Ras-related GTPases. Ral GDS contributes to cell proliferation, differentiation, and survival through signaling pathway regulation. Unlike Ras counterparts, Ral GDS doesn′t induce transformed foci when activated, suggesting a unique regulatory mechanism. Ral GDS interacts with downstream targets like Ral BP-1, containing a Rho-GTPase-activating domain that preferentially binds to Cdc42, demonstrating complex signaling pathway connections. Ral GDS mediates phospholipase D activation through Ras/Ral signaling, highlighting significance in cellular signaling and potential roles in cancer biology and therapeutic targeting.
