SEE ALSO...

Ral A Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects RalA of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RalA antibody (F-5) is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RalA is a member of the Ras-related GTPase family, playing a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways. RalA regulates exocytosis and cytoskeletal dynamics, making RalA essential for cell migration and proliferation. RalA primarily localizes in the cytoplasm and can move to the plasma membrane upon activation, which drives signal transduction. RalA becomes activated by guanine nucleotide exchange factor RalGDS and inactivated by specific GTPase-activating proteins, ensuring precise signaling control. Unlike other Ras proteins, RalA doesn′t induce transformed foci, highlighting a unique role in cellular processes. RalA interacts with downstream effectors, including RalBP-1, which contains a Rho-GTPase-activating domain preferentially interacting with Cdc42, a Rho family member. This interaction showcases RalA′s role in modulating various signaling pathways, including phospholipase D activation, emphasizing RalA′s significance in cellular function and potential cancer biology implications.
