I want to detect Rac1, if I use this pan Rac antibody, could I interpret my result?

Thank you for your question. Since this pan Rac antibody will detect Rac 1, Rac 2 and Rac 3, there is no way to distinguish which protein is present of those three in a positive signal. It will react with Rac 1 if present, but unless the sample is known to be negative for Rac 2 and Rac 3 you will not be able to say definitely that the signal is Rac 1 and not Rac 2 or Rac 3. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very sensitive antibodyI blocked my Western blot in 5% BSA and diluted the antibody 1:500 overnight at 4 degrees C. The band was very intense, and there were a lot of bands above the 23k band albeit it weaker in intensity. I could've easily have used a 1:1500 dilution or more. The antibody worked very well.
