PTEN Antibody (A2B1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody specifically designed to detect PTEN, also known as phosphatase and tensin homolog, MMAC1, or TEP1. PTEN mouse monoclonal antibody (A2B1) targets the C-terminal epitope of PTEN, recognizing amino acids 388-400, and is effective across multiple species including mouse, rat, and human. PTEN (A2B1) antibody functions as a lipid and protein phosphatase, playing a significant role in regulating cellular processes such as growth, proliferation, and survival by antagonizing the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway. The loss or mutation of PTEN is frequently observed in various cancers, including glioblastomas, breast, kidney, and prostate cancers, highlighting its importance in maintaining normal cellular function and preventing tumorigenesis. PTEN monoclonal antibody (A2B1) is versatile in its applications, suitable for western blotting, immunoprecipitation, immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry (including paraffin-embedded samples), and ELISA assays, making anti-PTEN (A2B1) antibody an essential tool for cancer research and the study of PTEN-related pathways. Additionally, PTEN (A2B1) monoclonal antibody is available in multiple conjugated forms, such as agarose, HRP, PE, FITC, and various Alexa Fluor® conjugates, providing flexibility for diverse experimental requirements. By enabling accurate detection and analysis, PTEN mouse monoclonal antibody (A2B1) facilitates advancements in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying cancer development and progression, as well as the potential for developing targeted therapies.
