SEE ALSO...

POLR3B Antibody (G-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects POLR3B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). POLR3B (G-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. POLR3B protein, also known as polymerase (RNA) III (DNA directed) polypeptide B, is a crucial component of RNA polymerase III complex, which is responsible for synthesizing small RNAs, such as transfer RNA and ribosomal RNA, essential for protein synthesis and cellular function. This 1,133 amino acid protein is located in nucleus, where POLR3B plays a vital role in transcription process, converting DNA into RNA using ribonucleoside triphosphates as substrates. Proper functioning of POLR3B is critical, as defects in RNA polymerase III activity can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and certain cancers. POLR3B gene is situated on human chromosome 12, a region associated with several genetic disorders, highlighting POLR3B′s importance in both normal cellular processes and disease states.
