SEE ALSO...

Pol I/II/III RPB6 Antibody (B6-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the Pol I/II/III RPB6 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Pol I/II/III RPB6 antibody (B6-1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Pol I/II/III RPB6 protein plays a crucial role in the assembly and function of the three distinct classes of RNA polymerases found in eukaryotic cells, namely RNA polymerase I, II, and III, which are responsible for synthesizing different types of RNA. Specifically, the RPB6 subunit is essential for the stability and activity of these polymerases, as RPB6 is a shared component that contributes to the formation of the core enzyme complex. This shared nature underscores the importance of RPB6 in regulating gene expression and maintaining cellular function, as any disruption in RPB6 activity can lead to significant consequences in RNA synthesis and, consequently, protein production. Pol I/II/III RPB6 monoclonal antibody (B6-1) effectively detects this critical protein across multiple species, making B6-1 an invaluable tool for researchers studying transcriptional regulation and RNA polymerase function in various biological contexts.
