SEE ALSO...

PLC δ1 Antibody (D-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C δ1 (PLC δ1) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PLC δ1 plays a pivotal role in calcium signaling, acting as a calcium signal amplifier that is activated by atypical GTP-binding proteins, thereby facilitating critical receptor-mediated signal transduction pathways. PLC δ1 is predominantly expressed in the brain, heart, lung, and testis, and abnormal PLC δ1 accumulation has been observed in the brains of individuals with Alzheimer′s disease, indicating a potential involvement in the disease′s pathology. PLC δ1 presence in these tissues underscores its importance in various physiological processes, including neuronal signaling and cardiovascular function. Additionally, PLC δ1 interacts with several other proteins, enhancing its role in cellular signaling networks. PLC δ1′s ability to generate second messengers inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate and diacylglycerol from phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate is crucial for propagating signals that regulate diverse cellular responses, making PLC δ1 a significant target for research in neurodegenerative diseases and other conditions related to calcium signaling dysregulation. Anti-PLC δ1 antibody (D-10) is an essential tool for researchers aiming to explore the intricate mechanisms of signal transduction and the pathological implications of PLC δ1 in various diseases.
