    SEE ALSO...

PDGF-D Antibody (E-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects PDGF-D in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PDGF-D is a member of the platelet-derived growth factor family, which plays a crucial role in cell growth, survival, and tissue repair, particularly in connective tissue cells. PDGF-D is secreted as a disulphide-linked homodimer known as PDGF-DD, which is activated through limited proteolysis, allowing specific binding to and activation of the PDGFR-β receptor. The interaction between PDGF-D and PDGFR-β is vital for various biological processes, including the development of organ systems and wound healing. PDGF-D is predominantly expressed in fibroblastic adventitial cells, highlighting PDGF-D′s importance in the regulation of cellular functions within the extracellular matrix. Anti-PDGF-D antibody (E-6) provides a reliable tool for researchers studying the intricate signaling pathways mediated by PDGF-D and implications in health and disease.
