PDGF-B Antibody (F-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody specific for an epitope mapping between amino acids 154-190 at the C-terminus of human platelet-derived growth factor B (PDGF-B), reactive with mouse, rat, and human species, and validated for western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PDGF-B is a vital growth factor involved in cellular proliferation, differentiation, and migration, particularly in mesenchymal and glial-derived cells. As a component of the PDGF family, PDGF-B pairs with PDGF-A to form isoforms PDGF-AA, PDGF-AB, and PDGF-BB, which activate cellular signaling through interaction with tyrosine kinase receptors PDGF-α and PDGF-β.
