SEE ALSO...

Pbx 2 Antibody (1.1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Pbx 2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-Pbx 2 antibody (1.1) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Pbx 2 is a member of the TALE (three amino acid loop extension) family of homeodomain-containing proteins, which play crucial roles in developmental processes and gene regulation. Pbx 2 (1.1) monoclonal antibody forms protein complexes that regulate transcription, and interaction with other proteins, such as the E2A gene products, is significant in human pre-B cell acute leukemias, where chromosomal rearrangements can lead to oncogenic fusion proteins. Pbx genes, including Pbx 2, are ubiquitously expressed in both fetal and adult tissues, highlighting their importance in maintaining cellular functions across various biological contexts. Pbx 2 and Pbx 3 transcripts are specifically detected in lymphoid cells, indicating their potential roles in immune system development and function.

Are there any issues with using sc-101853: Pbx 2 (1.1) mouse monoclonal primary antibody on mouse samples?

Asked by: Cweed
Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent,we recommend using a directly conjugated primary antibody. Please contact our special orders department for pricing and availability of sc-101853 conjugates.
