PACSIN3 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects PACSIN3 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PACSIN3, or Protein Kinase C and Casein Kinase Substrate in Neurons 3, plays a crucial role in the regulation of vesicle formation and transport within the cytoplasm, which is essential for maintaining cellular communication and function. PACSIN3 contains a short proline-rich region and lacks the asparagine-proline-phenylalanine motifs found in other PACSIN family members, which may influence specific interactions and functional roles. Sequence analysis reveals that human PACSIN3 consists of 424 amino acids and is 94% identical to its mouse counterpart, highlighting the evolutionary conservation of function. Studies indicate that PACSIN3 is predominantly expressed in the lung, skeletal muscle, heart, brain, kidney, and uterus of mice, suggesting involvement in various physiological processes across different tissues. PACSIN3′s ability to oligomerize and bind to proteins such as dynamin, synaptojanin 1, and N-WASP through Src homology 3 domains emphasizes importance in cellular dynamics and vesicle trafficking. Anti-PACSIN3 antibody (C-3) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the intricate mechanisms of cellular transport and signaling pathways.
