    p35 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects p25 and p35 regulatory subunits of Cdk5 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-p35 antibody (C-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Cyclin-dependent kinase-5 (Cdk5) plays a crucial role in regulating neuronal functions and is essential for proper brain development and function. Cdk5 is primarily active in the brain, where p35 monoclonal antibody (C-3) targets processes such as neuronal migration, synaptic plasticity, and neurotransmitter release regulation. p35 (C-3) antibody recognizes a subunit vital for Cdk5 activation, enhancing kinase enzymatic activity and ensuring localization to neuronal cells. p35 can be cleaved to form p25, which has been implicated in neurodegenerative diseases, highlighting the significance of understanding these proteins′ regulation and function in both health and disease.
