Datasheets
  • p-NF-H Antibody (RNF404) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a κ provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against a neurofilament NF-H protein isolated from a cytoskeletal preparation from calf brain
  • recommended for detection of phosphorylated NF-H of mouse, rat, human, Xenopus and bovine origin by WB, IP and IF
  • m-IgG Fc BP-HRP, m-IgG2a BP-HRP and m-IgGκ BP-HRP are the preferred secondary detection reagents for p-NF-H Antibody (RNF404) for WB applications. These reagents are now offered in bundles with p-NF-H Antibody (RNF404) (see ordering information below).

    SEE ALSO...

p-NF-H Antibody (RNF404) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a antibody that detects neurofilament-H in mouse, rat, human, Xenopus, and bovine samples through western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), and immunofluorescence (IF) applications. Anti-neurofilament-H antibody (RNF404) specifically recognizes phosphorylated forms of neurofilament-H, which is a crucial component of the neuronal cytoskeleton, playing a significant role in maintaining the structural integrity and function of neurons. Neurofilament-H (RNF404) monoclonal antibody is particularly important for studying axon caliber regulation, which directly influences nerve impulse conduction speed. Phosphorylation of neurofilament-H affects interactions with other cytoskeletal elements, such as microtubules and actin filaments, thereby impacting overall neuronal stability and signaling. Alterations in neurofilament-H phosphorylation are often associated with various neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson′s disease, and Alzheimer′s disease, making neurofilament-H research vital for understanding these conditions. With broad species reactivity and proven applications, anti-neurofilament-H antibody (RNF404) serves as an essential tool for investigating neuronal health and disease.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with p-NF-H (RNF404): sc-32728?

    Asked by: Professor Griffin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
