Datasheets
  • NF-H Antibody (RNF402) is a mouse monoclonal IgM κ NF-H antibody, cited in 19 publications, provided at 200 µg/ml
  • raised against a neurofilament NF-H protein isolated from a cytoskeletal preparation from calf brain
  • recommended for detection of NF-H of mouse, rat, human and Xenopus origin by WB, IP, IF and IHC(P); also reactive with additional species, including bovine
  • m-IgGκ BP-HRP is the preferred secondary detection reagent for NF-H Antibody (RNF402) for WB and IHC(P) applications. This reagent is now offered in a bundle with NF-H Antibody (RNF402) (see ordering information below). For additional m-IgGκ BP conjugates see our complete list of Mouse IgG Binding Proteins.

SEE ALSO...

NF-H Antibody (RNF402) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects NF-H protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-NF-H antibody (RNF402) is available as the non-conjugated format. NF-H protein, or neurofilament heavy polypeptide, is a crucial component of the neuronal cytoskeleton, playing a significant role in maintaining neuronal structural integrity. Located primarily in axons of neurons, NF-H contributes to axon diameter regulation, which is essential for proper nerve impulse conduction. Dynamic neurofilaments interact with other cytoskeletal components, such as microtubules and actin filaments, influencing overall neuronal function and stability. Alterations in NF-H expression or phosphorylation are often associated with various neurodegenerative diseases, including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson′s disease, and Alzheimer′s disease, making NF-H a valuable biomarker for studying these conditions.

I am using NF-H (RNF402): sc-32729 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Asked by: Dr Ninau Qelp
We recommend performing antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6) and heat. The full protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoperoxidase-staining

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Bene in immunofluorescenza ma non per western blotHo provato questo anticorpo in immunofluorescnza su spinal cord di topo criostatato (diluzione 1:100); ho ottenuto una buona marcatura, ma anche molto aspecifico. Purtroppo per wester blot non funziona
