NTR1 Antibody (B-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects NTR1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NTR1 Antibody (B-12) is available in a non-conjugated form, providing flexibility for various experimental needs. The neurotensin receptor 1 (NTR1) plays a crucial role in mediating the physiological effects of neurotensin, a neuropeptide involved in numerous central and peripheral processes. NTR1 is primarily located in the central nervous system, particularly in regions associated with pain modulation, appetite regulation, and cardiovascular control, making NTR1 essential for understanding neuropeptide signaling pathways. NTR1 activation can lead to a cascade of intracellular events, influencing the release of other signaling molecules and contributing to the regulation of blood pressure, glucose metabolism, and pain perception. Additionally, NTR1 interacts with various G proteins, including Gq, Gi/o, and Gs, which further underscores NTR1′s importance in diverse physiological responses. NTR1′s ability to couple with these G proteins highlights NTR1′s potential as a therapeutic target for conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and chronic pain, emphasizing NTR1′s relevance in both basic research and clinical applications.
