SEE ALSO...

NTR1 Antibody (B-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgM antibody that detects NTR1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NTR1 (B-9) antibody is available as non-conjugated anti-NTR1 antibody. NTR1 protein, also known as neurotensin receptor 1, plays a crucial role in mediating physiological effects of neurotensin, a neuropeptide involved in various central and peripheral functions. NTR1 is primarily located in brain and peripheral tissues, contributing to important processes such as regulation of blood pressure, glucose metabolism, thermoregulation, pain modulation, and gastrointestinal motility. Interaction of neurotensin with NTR1 initiates intracellular signaling cascades through G protein coupling, activating multiple pathways, including those involving Gq, Gi/o, and Gs proteins. Activation of NTR1 has been shown to influence expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines in microglial cells, highlighting potential role in neuroinflammatory responses. NTR1′s ability to mediate diverse physiological effects underscores importance in both health and disease, making anti-NTR1 antibody (B-9) a valuable tool for researchers studying neurotensin signaling pathways and implications in various biological contexts.
