NRAGE Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects neurotrophin receptor-interacting MAGE homolog (NRAGE) in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). NRAGE plays a crucial role in neuronal development and survival by interacting with the p75 neurotrophin receptor, particularly in nerve growth factor (NGF) signaling. When NGF binds to p75NTR, NRAGE associates with the plasma membrane, which is essential for mediating the downstream effects of NGF, including neuronal differentiation and apoptosis in sympathetic neuron precursor cells.
