NRAGE Antibody (F-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects NRAGE in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-NRAGE antibody (F-9) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. NRAGE, a member of the neurotrophin receptor-interacting MAGE homolog family, plays a pivotal role in neuronal development and survival by binding to the p75 neurotrophin receptor. This interaction facilitates NRAGE translocation to the plasma membrane upon nerve growth factor binding, which is essential for mediating neurotrophic signaling. NRAGE′s ability to induce cell cycle arrest and promote apoptosis in sympathetic neuron precursor cells underscores NRAGE′s importance in regulating neuronal differentiation and maintaining neuronal health. NRAGE expression in the medulla oblongata during development and in motor neurons highlights NRAGE′s significance in the central nervous system. Structural similarities between NRAGE and the melanoma-associated antigen necdin suggest shared mechanisms in influencing cell cycle dynamics, further emphasizing NRAGE′s relevance in neurobiology and potential therapeutic applications.
