nm23-H1 Antibody (NM301) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the nm23-H1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. nm23-H1 monoclonal antibody (NM301) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The nm23-H1 protein plays a crucial role as a potential suppressor of metastasis, having been identified through differential hybridization between murine melanoma sub-lines with varying metastatic capacities. Notably, highly metastatic sub-lines exhibit significantly lower levels of nm23-H1 compared to their less metastatic counterparts, highlighting its importance in cancer biology. The nm23 gene encodes a protein that is closely related to nucleotide diphosphate kinases, and in humans, the nm23-H1 and nm23-H2 proteins are homologous to two isotypes of human NDP kinases. Furthermore, nm23-H2 shares identity with PuF, a transcription factor that interacts with specific elements in the human C-Myc promoter, underscoring nm23-H2′s involvement in transcriptional regulation and potential implications in tumorigenesis.

I am using nm23-H1 (NM301): sc-465 monoclonal antibody to stain paraffin embedded tissue. Do you recommend antigen retrieval when using this antibody?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from good resultI used this antybody for WB analysis . For each treatment 30 μg of total proteins extract from the mouse brain were loaded on SDS-PAGE (12% acrylamide) and immunodetected with anti-nm23-H1 .The highest signal was observed,also very specific band.
