SEE ALSO...

Neutrophil Elastase Antibody (NP57) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody designed to target neutrophil granule proteins of human origin. Neutrophil Elastase monoclonal antibody (NP57) effectively detects human Neutrophil Elastase, also known as ELANE or medullasin, through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). Available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated versions including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® dyes, Neutrophil Elastase (NP57) antibody accommodates a wide range of experimental needs. Neutrophil Elastase is a crucial serine protease involved in the proteolysis of phagocytosed proteins, facilitating neutrophil migration and tissue remodeling following injury. Neutrophil Elastase plays a significant role in the progression of numerous inflammatory diseases such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, adult respiratory distress syndrome, and cystic fibrosis. By degrading extracellular matrix components like elastin, proteoglycans, and Type IV collagen, Neutrophil Elastase contributes to both normal physiological processes and pathological tissue destruction. Neutrophil Elastase interacts with the complement system by cleaving proteins like antithrombin and fibrinogen, and acts as a potent platelet agonist, enhancing platelet aggregation, secretion, and calcium mobilization.

Has a conjugated anti-NE antibody been used in Flow, and in which case do you have the isotype control available? Thanks

Asked by: RobF
Thank you for your question. This antibody is a good choice for Flow cytometry, it's warrantied and recommended for this use. You can find our isotype control IgGs here: https://www.scbt.com/browse/Control-IgGs-and-IgG-Conjugates/_/N-1j3ajah
